JPII on Real Ecumenism

John Paul II addressed a group of Brazilian bishops recently, and in so doing spoke of real ecumenism. Good article.

Point of clarification: ecumenism, properly speaking, deals only with the drive for unity among Christians. Scholars in the field refer to common activities between Christians, Jews, and Muslims as inter-faith dialogue, while talks with other religions (Buddhism, Hinduism, etc.) are referred to as inter-religious dialogue.

Not trying to be picky. Just clear.
