At a conference in Rome this week which is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the release of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Cardinal Christoph Schoeborn, the general editor of the Catechism, made a number of comments, including: 1. his desire for a "condensed version" of the 500-page Catechism; and 2. his desire that the CCC should "form the basis for instruction for all first-year seminarians."
