The Democrat Penchant for Self-Destructing on Foreign Policy Issues

Good column in the Washington Post today by Michael Kelly on the Democrats' decades-long tendency to do and say really dumb things on foreign policy matters. Baghdad Jim and Baghdad Bonior (George Will's terms, as far as I can tell) are only the latest examples, when they say regarding Bush that "the president would mislead the American people", while regarding their hosts, "you have to take the Iraqis on their value, at their face value." Sure, guys.
