The latest book of Msgr. Luigi Giussani -- the founder of the ecclesial movement Communion and Liberation, who passed away last year shortly before John Paul the Great -- to be translated into english is The Journey to Truth is an Experience. In the introduction, he notes the first intuition of what would become CL:
- ... this was a matter of re-launching the announcement of Christianity as a present event of human interest and suitable for anyone who does not want to renounce the fulfillment of his or her hopes and expectations, as well as the use, without diminishment, of the gift of reason.

I ended up getting it through Amazon.ca (not .com)... it's just now getting to MQUP's US distributor, meaning it should be in US retailers' warehouses (e.g. Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble) by the end of the month. But it only took a week from ordering to arrival via .ca.
Thanks for the tip, Chris--B&N and Amazon.com were both estimating the end of November. I ordered some copies this morning from amazon.ca and they've already shipped!
Dang. I've got an order with Walmart.com that's pending shipment. B&N shows Jan 28 as the shipping date. Amazon.com no longer even shows a release date.
So, I ordered from amazon.ca today, but it's not predicted to arrive before Feb 7.
